Mathematics Educator ∙ NOYCE Fellow ∙ Board Member ∙

As an NSF NOYCE Fellow, elected Board Member of both NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education and Florida Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, and a mathematics educator, I am committed to creating engaging and inclusive learning environments that foster students’ mathematical thinking, confidence, and sense of belonging. With over a decade of teaching experience, I have developed research-based mathematics lessons, mentored educators and preservice teachers, and supported student-centered instructional practices.

Through my leadership and research, I collaborate with educators across local, state, national, and international spaces to advance equitable mathematics education and strengthen leadership pathways within the field. My work centers culturally relevant leadership, meaningful collaboration, and the connection between research and practice to support joyful, rigorous, and accessible mathematics learning for all students.
