Mathematics Educator ∙ NOYCE Fellow ∙ Board Member ∙ Executive Director ∙
As Executive Director of Mathkind Global, I lead work that brings educators and communities together to strengthen mathematics teaching and expand opportunities for students. I am also an NSF Noyce Fellow, an elected board member of NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education and the Florida Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, and a mathematics educator and researcher. Drawing on more than a decade in education, I have developed research based mathematics learning experiences, mentored educators and preservice teachers, and supported practices that build students’ mathematical thinking, confidence, joy, and sense of belonging.
My leadership and research span local, state, national, and international spaces. I collaborate with educators and partners to advance equitable mathematics education and strengthen leadership pathways across the field. My work centers culturally relevant leadership, meaningful collaboration, and the connection between research and practice to create rigorous, joyful, and accessible mathematics learning for all students.
