Dr. Abi Ruiz is a mathematics and science educator, National Science Foundation fellow and a board member for NCSM. She is deeply committed to fostering academic excellence in all students and believes all students should have access to the wonder, joy, and beauty of mathematics.
Her pursuit of educational excellence extends far beyond the confines of the classroom. Her research focuses on culturally relevant mathematics pedagogy, aiming to transform mathematics into an accessible gateway for historically marginalized student groups.

She is committed to increasing the presence of girls and women in STEM fields and is devoted to molding and inspiring future leaders and innovators.
